Pelican Develops Custom Case for Smith & Wesson’s Limited Edition 327 WR Revolver Product Launch

If you’re familiar with competitive shooting, you likely know the name Jerry Miculek. If you don’t, Jerry Miculek is an American professional competition shooter known for his achievements in 3-Gun and speed shooting. To recognize Jerry’s latest world record achievement, Smith & Wesson introduced a signature 327 WR Model revolver incorporating features like a lightweight frame, signature grips, and optics that were essential to Jerry accomplishing his goal. Included with the revolver is a set of Moon Clip Speed Loaders, a red dot optic, and a few additional tools, all bundled inside of a custom Pelican 1450 Protector Case.

Solution

In partnership with Smith & Wesson, Pelican designed a completely custom 1450 Protector case, incorporating Smith & Wesson’s logo, as well as custom exterior colors for the case (blue) and latches (grey). The foam interior is precisely cut to the dimensions of the revolver and kit components, ensuring this limited edition offering remains in optimal condition both in transit and storage. The blue foam topper adds the final touch – pairing seamlessly with the case exterior to elevate the product launch and deliver unmatched protection for Smith & Wesson’s signature 327 WR edition revolver customers.
